Telegram

The quickest way to start is the shared Power Horse bot: add it to your group and you're running. If you'd rather run under your own brand, you can bring your own bot: create a bot with Telegram's BotFather and connect its token in Settings → Connect → Telegram. Either way, your groups, moderation, XP, and analytics work the same.

Add the bot to your Telegram group and make it an admin: it needs admin rights to delete messages, ban users (which also covers muting and kicking), and post. If one of those rights is missing, the Welcome and Moderation pages show a warning so you can fix it in Telegram. Once it's added, the group is registered automatically and shows up in your dashboard under Community. You can also register a group manually by chat ID from the Telegram connect page if needed.

New members are muted the moment they join and sent a quick challenge (a CAPTCHA-style question) to prove they're human. When they answer correctly, the bot unmutes them and marks them verified. Accounts that never answer stay muted, which keeps spam bots from posting in your group. Under Moderation → Remove members who don't verify you can also have the bot kick anyone who hasn't verified within a time you choose (from 5 minutes up to 7 days). It's off by default, and a kicked member can rejoin and try again.

The bot scores risky links and messages and can delete them and mute offenders, with the same risk-based approach used on Discord (see Moderation). New joins are risk-scored too, so suspicious accounts are flagged.

Members earn XP for taking part in the group, just like on Discord, and the bot can post a welcome message to greet new verified members. Welcome messages are kept by default; on the Welcome page you can have the bot delete them after a set number of minutes. Goodbye messages are deleted after 1 minute by default, and the bot doesn't post one for someone who left or was removed before verifying. Turn on Clean up join and leave notices and the bot also deletes Telegram's own "joined", "left" and "removed" messages to keep the chat readable. It's on by default for Telegram groups, and everything is still in your audit log.

Connected groups are snapshotted on a schedule, so you can track member counts and growth over time alongside your other platforms in Analytics.

You can also link Telegram to your Veyramesh account as a sign-in method and to receive bot notifications, manage it from Settings → Profile under your linked accounts.
